Your Photo Could Change Someone’s Life in Nepal
A doctor from Trivubhan Teaching Hospital Maharajgunj, Nepal, comes to do a social work.
Dr. Akinchan, started doing his charcoal painting at the age of six and carried on. His dedication and motivation grew as the days went by, he became a doctor, his sheer determination in his life was to do something for those who have none, heal wounds, save lives, all has come to a reality.
A Kathmandu based, social organization which houses orphans, will receive the collections He makes through the sales of his new project called “Faces to help Children”.
Tear drops roll down in our eyes hearing of kids who have no family. Even much tears when you know they live in a very poor country. But less hands reach out to those who need the help most.
The project aims of collecting as many photos as possible. Photos preferred are of kids from around the world and the artist will draw them and do exhibitions at home and in many countries. Money collected would then be given to orphanages who could get a better place to sleep, a warm meal on their table, and education for future and once termed as nobody, they might become somebody someday.
Just a photo from you could do all these ? It’s a very challenging role that both this artist and the organization as well as the Doctors and other members are backing this unique way of serving the community in Nepal but You can be a part of this unique project even if you are miles away from Nepal.
Please share, post the following image to any other Nepali or None Nepali websites. Do all you can for this project to achive its goal. Shout out for these orphans who have no where to go. Many might have been found on the streets abondoned by their mum or dad, many came here during the decades of war in our country. It’s not about how they became orphans, it’s about what we can give to them. That’s what this project aims at. Also this isn’t a project about you or me, it’s about these kids who don’t have a family. Do you have a family? You are lucky and may the happiness be with you and may your family- love grow day by day.
Your help could make a difference in the life of these kids. And as for travelers who are already there in Kathmandu, please do visit the office of this organization and see what you can do; details of what is required is on the Ad below.
This project seeks aims to collect 1 photo from every country (preferably a childen’s photo), then have the artist draw it using charcoal, and do exhibitions in Nepal and in other countries. Funds collected through sales and exhibitions would be donated to the orphanage house.
