But Today, I am writing for some tips that many of our travel web sites, which are made in Kathmandu or other cities by our fellow travel companies, seem to have ignored the possibility of generating traffic as wellzas earning by gaining new or old customers.

Here are tips to bring traffic to your site:

• Many of you do have the budget to by ads such ad google adwords and other such advertising. But only a handful of our sites have used this. Signing up with google adwords is free and easy. You can create ads of texts, images and videos. Buy keywords that would have your ad being listed on top of the search engines for those who have made custom search engines, or on along the righ hand side of the google main search and imagine your ads being displayed even sites such as CNN! Use google adwords to maximize your visibility and bring traffic to your site.
• Buy links or ads on foreign travel sites, such as those of USA, UK, Australia, Germany and so on. Your would be travellers could be checking out those sites first. So having your presence on such sites gets you noticed.
• Make use of this Nepali travel sites such as this one which ranks as #10 Nepali travel and tourism site as reported by alex, a traffic analyzing site owned by Amazon.com. nepalvista.com was born with a simple concept; promote Nepal by writing articles and topics, provide information to those would be travellers about the country, and also carry a list of useful and unique directory on various categories. • Use our Forum, but don’t just post one and never use it. Use it regularly to answer questions posted by travellers, use to ask questions. Be active. Yes, you can leave a link to your site as a signature. All these are simple tips to help you bring more traffic to your site. Create a site is only half of the work, getting it noticed on the web is another. Again, when visitors come to your site, your web site must be smart to sell your products. How to make it ?

• Visitors have come to your site to learn about you. Provide details about your company, the people who work for you (yeah, never ignore them, even placing a page called Personnel with photos is a good idea to boost your image)
• Don’t write too much about NEPAL. There are already many other sites that have introduced what the country is all about. Many of your visitors have landed on your site to buy your product. Too much information on Nepal and less information about your company can turn them away.
• Be unique. Write everything by yourself. Don’t use someon’e content and make it look like yours. Imagine the possibility of would be customer just going away finding that you have used particular section of the content the he/she already found else where.
