Everest Climb Not Banned But Boomed
Rumors spread at the speed of super highway- Internet.
Why would Nepal ban anyone from climbing Mt. Everest specially during the needy time of tourism? It’s all rumors. If China had asked Nepal to ban, who are they to control Nepal? How would that make any sense?
Nepal tourism board, the main leader in promoting tourism business of the country through colaboration with Goverment of Nepal and all responsible travel service providers, may, at anytime, take some precautions to ban climbing certain mountains upon learning that climbing may be at risk due to predicted weather or political unsettlings in or around the region.
One should remember, Mt. Everest is a mountain or a land that separates Nepal and China and specially some Tibet region which Chinese have suppressed for longer than anyone can remember. If there is a security concern for our travellers, Nepal will take actions, it’s that simple.
Those who are seeking to climb the Everest, rest asured that your desire is kept alive by Nepal Government for now and forever!
Please contact our travel agents or the organization when in doubt!
Rumors are for newspapers and tabloids,
Everest is for you and me;
Let’s go climb.
