New Campaign Beyond Slogan
Nepal Tourism Organizations are working to create a new tourism campaign as the results of last visit pokara campaign went successfully. Also the country’s political stability continues to boost tourism business, a new campaign would certainly add momentum and help increase tourists inflow.
Would a campaign title be enough or can it trully sell campaign using all available resource such as Internet Advertisement? Despite Tourism facing travel warnings from some countries, situation in the country will change everything. To grasp the oppertunity, tourism campaign will surely encourage responsible citizens, government to act in a manner to promote country’s tourism which is regarded as the daily bread and butter of Nepal.
Getting a tourism slogan is just the start, pre and post planning, managing, organising, executing events, and measuring performance and making all of the data public are some major changes that Nepalese are looking for from the act of their organizations. Openness is a key to success and a way to better understand how we can do better tomorrow.
This new would be campaign needs elements of public discussions, debates and their participative roles. Having all Nepalese being a part of the campaign would make them more responsible and hence are less likely to damage the campaign by personal interests such as strikes and riots.
Best wishes to Nepal and hope the new campaign is supported and is kept in heart by Nepali Government and Nepalese from beginning to end.
No tourism campaign has ever been successful without the support from people and their Government.
