Ambassadors are certainly the key link to a nation to others. Their importance can never be over looked. We love all those who are in Nepal, because of them, our landlocked country would have much harder times linking to the world.
Nepal, being a paradise for adventure lovers and holiday makers, should ought to do something like this. After all, what jobs can Ambassadors do in a tiny nation like ours; build Nepal’s relationship with the rest of the world - as for my understanding, that was done a long time ago when more than 100 nations gave Nepal the title as “Peace Loving Nation is only Nepal”

Parameters to win ? Well, which ambassador living in Nepal will do these the most or will it be because of his efforts of by the love of lovers of Nepal - the travelers:

• Bring the highest number of tourists to Nepal
• Tourists Duration of Stay in Nepal
• Spending by Tourists
• and their objectives of visiting Nepal

Questions Remain :
Do you have the necessary infrastructure to measure this ? It seems like a daunting task to get the last two parameters (see above) to be measured in Nepal while use of Technology  has only used in places like Schools, Computer Training Centers, Private Companies and as for Government offices which could be counted on fingers. To make you think, Nepal still can’t tell how many tourists come by land ? By air? Well, there is only one airport and everyone who enters has to fill-up the form. Count the forms and you now have the visitors statistics.
It’s nice to make headlines with something like this which I would imagine is probably the contest of such kind ever done by any country on the planet. So may be I should be happy about it and I am. But equally, sadden will surface now or sooner if headlines were  created due to people without backups!
