Will Bill Gates donate tourism products to Nepal?
A lot of foreign money is poured into Nepal every year. Many in the form of cash, social development programs such as health care, water supply systems. India donated the highway that connects Nepal’s Capital, Kathmandu, with the rest of cities, Many bridges are donated by Japan. But not everything donated has been maintained well.
When the Tourism is slowly blooming after years of bloody war, our national flagship carrier, Nepal Airlines Corporation has come to a halt due to faulty Airlines, lack of vision, lack of qualified personnel and mismanagement of funds. Nepal Airlines has been blamed times a many for corruption and failing to perform. When Nepal’s Tourism Industry is blooming rapidly everyday, perhaps Bill Gates can come to the rescue. His social organization known as the Gates Foundation should donate Airlines for Nepal or invest in Nepal’s tourism Business. Are you laughing? Then do a big LOL!
Here is what Bill Gates could get for free:
- He could see Everest or prepare to Climb the Everest for the first time using his own airlines and helicopters.
- This would popularize Microsoft’s Windows Vista. The word Vista is more close to the term Beauty of Himalayas than any other and if you don’t agree, do another huge LOL!
His computer programmers could learn to create better Graphical User Interface (GUI) for the future OS termed Windows Vinna by witnessing the beauty of Heavenly Everest and Himalayas. If you are hurting your belly, stop reading further!
He would be known not only as Bill Gates but Bill Nepali. Grab yourself a paper bag!
It’s very unlikely that Rich will help poors unless He/She was once Poor. When Bill gates himself has done little for his own people, it’s a laughing matter that he might help people of other nations. Go ahead do one more LOL! But I still have 2 questions; will this richest man of the planet ever climb everest before he dies?

As for comments to this post, please write comments on general benefiting everyone not just one person of single company. This post was born knowing that Gates has huge investment in our neighboring country India and why he completely ignores Nepal.
After all, Nepal continues to generate qualified Tech from IT sector and Managers from Tourism sector.
What will take for rich to put their money on needy nations without movities for profit and/or influences by other parties such as ambassadors?? !!
c’ME MAN dono’t repeat the same mistake that our leaders did again and again since there beginning in the Nepali politics. We everybody know that our country has heavy foreign debt. Your ideas to ask money from the philanthropist does not seem good any way taking experience from past. But idea to motivating Gates come to Nepal and enjoy being tourism will obviously contribute the tourism industry. Is this not a better than asking money?
So fren, lets creat business environment to lure the foreign investor rather asking donation from them. Donation does not last long and it does not creat commitment among the Nepalese where as business makes everybody free from all types of lacking if it gets opportunity to grow fairly.
Your idea to bring Gates for Everest climbing is really encouraging and insightiful.
