Nepal - Best Time to Travel is any time
Best Time to Travel is any time
We all have tight schedules and often flying to a foreign land is only after months of planning; creating our budget, getting to know about the place we wish to travel and the things we would like to do there and their costs. Just how many tourists would have come to Nepal with last night’s decision?
And there are the airlines that decline our dates; oh we are overbooked, the tickets will be available when our vacation time is over; how is that going to help us? Don’t we just wish we could have wings, LOL!
When you do get a vacation from your work, you decide with your family; wife and kids about how to spend the time. BUDGET is part of our family and it will decide who stays and who travels. Often the time you get may not be the best time to visit a country due to bad weather, and if we rush we might end up going somewhere we do not like or trek in heavy rains constantly remembering our warm and comfortable home.
So, it does make sense to start planning early. If this is your first trip to Nepal, you would want to make sure the sky is blue, temperature is cool, Himalaya views are breathtaking. Getting a seat to Nepal during peak tourism season can be a daunting task and will have big price tag. But Weather is unpredictable, as always has been. The best time to visit a country is when we can truly forecast weather. Just by looking at the past weather data is not enough.
As for Budget, not all of us have enough all the time. Even more so for the cost of travelling from one side of the earth to the other.
- “Best time to visit a country” is usually more expensive than other times. Flights are over-booked. And again, you might still be at work waiting for your vacation time. During peak tourism reason everything will be more expensive.
- So what’s next, go for what many do not try. Travel during off tourism seasons, get bargains from everything such as accomodation to tickets to travel packages. June to August is the rainy season for Nepal but they are the cheapest months. If trekking is not on your list, you can do a whole lot of other activites here with less money.
There are no rules to travel, there are no seasons for adventure lovers. Experience and make the best of your time. So its all upto us, do we have time? Is this is the best time to travel? Will my money go far during this time? Ask all you can; all sorts of questions before you leave your land, but remember: Leave the rest to Nepalese, they will treat you like a God, all year round!
