Bush, listen to Carter - an open letter to the President

Ok, he did not belong to your Republican party. But he was just like you, who enjoyed the love from people coming from all walks of life. The only difference between you and him is you talk about peace and he talks about peace and forgiveness.

Ok. Some people living in this land did not do their jobs right. If you had counted corruption, all of our leaders could also fit the profile of a terrorist. Corruption can kill people. More than half the people in Nepal live below poverty line, living with no hopes and dreams. Some of them are suffering life long and others are dieing. Some of those deaths and sufferings could be the result of corruption by Nepali leaders but there are no investigations for the justice of poor.

You were right when you gave them the name terrorists. You named only those holding guns but you failed to name those holding dollars in their hands!

Time has changed so much. You are busy with your own country’s agendas but would please spare some time for us - the poor Nepalese with beautiful smile on our faces, ready to greet you. You already knew that, didn’t you?

• I pray that you will love Nepal and help this tiny and poor nation not by donations but also by helping in the peace process.
• For those who did make the mistakes in the past, i pray you will forgive them once and for all.
