VP – Time on Our Hand !

clock

  • Its March 24 2007
  • Almost 3 months gone.
  • A few seminars have been made or participated abroad.
  • Some Money Has been Spent or Wasted.
  • Visitors arrivals have been compared with last year’s figures instead of the previous months of this year!
  • Country is still in turmoil in spite of the peace agreement. Will this situation give us an excuse because we would be failing to meet our targets or are there clear strategies to make it a success.

Our country’s every sector has plans, and they start by the number 1, then 2 and some go all the way up to 999999999999999! (well, not that far, i think i need to replace this keyboard, the number 9 key gets sticked-down!)

Plans are termed as master plan, baby plan, this plan and that plan. Plan after and plan. Plan to start after a new government, plan to act before the new government. Plan after General Election. Lots of plans but no action, and more excuses accurately describes the functioning of our our Government and Its bodies. Count your fingers for Poverty Eradication Plans, Hydro-power Plans and Now Tourism Plan (Bring about half a million tourists to visit Nepal in the year 2007 by using the phrase “Visit Pokhara 2007″

Is there a master plan for this VP2007? Where is it ? Or on this day are we on the second plan ?
An interesting email from our fan has now lead to create us a page that will show us count-down to the end of this year. It will tell us just how many seconds are left before we reach our goal. Oh yes, there might be a counter counting the costs associated with our plans. Now that page won’t be available soon unless our government shows them or sends an email to nepalvista !

See VP2007 Counter coming up under pages.. for now, please ask our Government and Its responsible bodies about how much time is left and what we have accomplished so far!

If only we realized the value of time, we would have been doing much better.
