2nd Himalayan Mart 2007
Nepal Association of Tours and Travel (NATTA) in collaboration with other tourism organizations in the country is organizing its 2nd travel mart titled “NATA 2nd Himalayan Mart 2007″, which will be held on Sunday May 13th 2007 in Kathmandu, Nepal.
Previous Travel Mart had helped both local as well as foreign travel agencies to rip-off travel bargains and benefit from mutual cooperation. As the country is preparing for a peaceful general election, and the recent sign of huge tourists inflow (63% increase in February Month alone, as compared to the month of last year), as well as the positive feedbacks received from numerous promotions made by the Nepal Board in foreign countries, NATTA lookes forward to receiving a greater number of participants this year.
Travel mart is a way to extend Nepal’s hand to the rest of the world. If you are a travel agency or travel operator, this is the time to participate the show. Come to the mart and make your business grow. Please register and send your registration by fax.
Registration Form :

And now, the following is written for the folks at NATA
We only wish that you worked even harder in offering details about the show.
There is more information about the rules and regulations than about the Mart. What will this mart offer to prospective buyers or sellers ? Even a chart of the building / stalls, location, exact starting time and ending time, etc would have been even more informative. Welcoming is one thing and discouraging is another. Dear visitors, when you visit that page, pleases do not find the rules and regulations unwelcoming. A quote from the NATA website : “If cancellation is received on or before 30 April 2007, full amount paid will be refunded after deducting 50% (per delegate).”
We do not understand why that 50% has to be taken off! Perhaps we are not into into business.
Another quote from the site : “All persons with interested in tourism are eligible to participate in the NATTA Himalayan Int’l Travel Mart. But the Organizing Committee reserves the right to reject an application for Registration as delegate without assigning any reason.” Could not understand this clearly, what kind of message are you trying to give here ?
