Year 2007 - tourism year!
According to a data released by Nepal Tourism Board, tourists arrival by air for 2006 went up by 2.3% as compared to the year 2005. And a growth of tourists arrival during the last quarter of the year indicates that the year 2007 will be a good year for tourism.
With the addition of four more international airlines coming to Nepal, the launch of “Visit Pokhara Year 2007″ - a year-long celebrations aimed at attracting tourists to Nepal, and with the recent peace deal between the Nepal Government and Maoists, there is already a great smile in the face of our tourism industry.
