Nepal government stops issuing visas-on-arrival to nationals of
Ghana
Nigeria
Swaziland
Zimbab
Tourist visa can be obtained at the point of entry in Nepal. This encourages people to visit Nepal.

The above four countries will not be given entry visas at the point of entry in Nepal (at Tribhuvan International airport and at the point of entry at the Borders between India and China)

“Suspicious activities allegedly carried out by nationals of the four countries while in Nepal.” — has lead the Nepal Government to take this step, says Nepal Home Minister.

According to a report published by the Nepal Police, Nigerians and nationals from the three other countries have been arrested on several occasions of smuggle illegal drugs. They are also accused of committing other serious crimes.

The duration of the ban is unclear, and also the question of banning all nationals of a country to enter Nepal, only because of a handful of their wrong people is morally wrong.
